Despite the hot year the Aglianico grapes held up well to the drought. The wine has a full and bright ruby-garnet color and an aroma of crunchy black cherry, sweet tobacco and ash. The mouthfeel is fresh, meaty and very balanced with a long and precise persistence embellished by a balsamic aftertaste. Bottles produced: 14,000.
