Vernaccia Riserva Vigna ai Sassi 2008

This is a fine example of how a Vernaccia can age well. An intense and rich aroma with intensely fruity scents between passion fruit and hydrocarbon pineapple that still need to expand. The taste is intense and rich upheld by a high acidity that does not disturb but bolsters its drinkablility. An excellent progression and a finish where the scents return with a vengeance.
