Right away a clear 'German' style emerges (even though the sulfur does not interfere), which is a common element throughout the tastings. It is a style which seems to reflect the land more than the grape. A dull, pale straw yellow not too intense and not too smokey, a little flat. The bouquet is immediately open, very clean, clear and cold, a superior focalization without being technological. Citrus and metal, a touch of yeasts (bread crumbs), traces of anise and marjoram as it breathes. The attack is tremendously incisive, biting, citrus again, a no more than average body (as in all the wines tasted), the finish is salty, long, agile, very succulent. The complexity is not outstanding but the persistence is penetrating. After four days the same was true. To be drunk from today to 2020 at least, during which time we think it will improve.
