Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi 2009

While some critics may exaggerate in singing its praises, this is truly a great Verdicchio. The color is almost lunar, a luminous and clear yellow with distinct green reflections. The bouquet has petals of white flowers, with an ethereal aftermath that is both delicate and elegant. The mouthfeel is sharp, pungent, with a slight note of pear. All the components are in their proper place and never in excess.
