The Santarelli estate produces three basic Verdicchio wines, this stock wine, Tralivio and their unusual Balciana (at times, nature permitting, made with grapes with Botrytis cinerea. They also produce a Verdicchio passito dessert wine and a bubbly. This has a bouquet of menthol, aromatic herbs, green apple, citrus peel and a typical note of anise. The mouthfeel is young but promising, with a copious acidity and a characteristic almond and pungent finish.
