Verdicchio Brut Riserva Metodo Classico 2006

A Metodo Classico with real class. It certainly doesn’t go unnoticed thanks to the great potency of its fruit and its tanginess: it makes an ideal foil for many typical Italian dishes, including richly-flavoured ones. We drank the ’06 but in the last few months I have re-tasted the ’02 and the ’03, finding them both still on top form. The critics have never particularly appreciated this wine, but mistakenly in my opinion.
