Veive 2009

The newest of Diego’s whites, this is a 100% varietal Viognier, vinified using indigenous yeasts. It is an unusual wine for the area, with a handsome deep straw yellow colour and a typical nose, with faintly exotic fruity sensations as well as citrus-like nuances. It has notable structure on the palate and full, warming fruit. The richness of the extract is excellent: it is still a very youthful wine, but there are already hints of its potential great complexity. It is long and extremely appealing.
