Valdicava Brunello di Montalcino 2008

Vincenzo Abruzzese's estate is located in the northern area of Montalcino and the main house is  easily recognizable among the vineyards by the fencing for his horses, his other great passion. This 2008 has a very classic ruby color although it is not too concentrated. The excellent aroma has fruity scents of cherry and blueberry enhanced by a light smokiness and an intense, clean floral bouquet with oleander and tea leaves. The taste is extremely elegant and persistent thanks to polished tannins and a nice acidity that make the wine agile and easy to drink. The finish is intense without any asperity and recalls the aroma.
