Cantina Produttori di Valdobbiadene – Val D’Oca cooperative was created in 1952 and today has 576 members for a total of 714 hectares of vineyards. It has been awarded numerous international citations for quality. This Uvaggio Storico is 85% Glera with the rest a blend of Verdiso, Perera and Bianchetta Trevigiana. It is a Dry with a sugar dosage of 25g/l and 80,000 bottles are produced a year. The color is a splendid straw-yellow with clear, green nuances. It has a textbook vivaciousness that exalts a sweet and genteel aroma of acacia blossoms and mimosa, Annurca apple and pear, lemon and mint cream, almond cake with confectionary sugar on top and a slight hint of fresh aromatic herbs. The mouthfeel is delicately and properly sweet with an energetic streak and a nice acidic-tart vein creating balance. All this is consistent in the finish.
