Ugolaia 2007

Lisini is another historic Montalcino family, even if the first vintage to carry their name on its label was 'only' 1974. Ugolaia is made with grapes from a single vineyard, or cru if you prefer.

The color is standard, while the 'modern' aroma has accents of new wood on top of those of distinct and full fruit, currant and raspberry. The flavor is gratifying with its richness and juiciness, the mouthfeel agile and taut. An elegant and velvety wine, with a lovely aftertaste.
