To say that this is a really great Sardinian wine, made from native grapes, by a great family of winemakers, should already be enough. Yet one needs to continue to describe it because a wine like this one, with its notes of ripe fruit and toasted wood perfectly integrated and melted together, with its very fine tannins and a truly admirable persistence, puts it in a class of its own.
