One step higher on the estate's quality ladder. This Riserva Extra Brut is 100% Chardonnay in which the porphyritic and hilly soil of the Valle di Cembra leaves its mark. No tricks are used, no addition of sugary liqueur d'expédition. The vinification is done in steel vats and big wood barrels, spending six years on the lees.
The straw-yellow color is visibly elegant and radiant, while the aroma is broad and profound. There are scents of brioche, sweet aromatic hers, renetta apples, citrus and candied orange peel, not too evident but lasting. This complexity returns in the taste making it a wine with the softness and body, acidity and sapidity typical of mountain Chardonnay. A wine for more trained palates, very delicate and with a long life ahead of it.
