A great bottle, one that has in part freed itself from its container and expresses itself with a certain spontaneity (something lacking in the younger vintages). It has a fruity/mineral personality that seems to be this wine's calling card. The flavor has great vigor and freshness and a chalky finish of oyster and citrus, dry, slow and distinct. It appears to have reached the top.
