Made from only Barbera grapes, the wine ages for around a year in barrels of different sizes (from 500 to 3,500 liters). It has a nice, intense and intact ruby color and there is still some purple on the edge. The aroma is intense with distinct floral notes like violet and a touch of wisteria that shift towards wild flowers with a note of white pepper corn. The mouthfeel has a nice density and a fine balance with classy tannins and a lovely acidity supporting the extracts. The progression is good with a slight after-aroma of almond in the finish.
