The grapes are harvested late and are allowed to raisinate on the trellises with the presence of noble rot. The wine is fermented and aged in wood barrels, then in the bottle. A superlative expression of Verdicchio, this wine is moves you already with its bright, golden-amber color. Both the aroma and flavor have complexity, finesse and personality with notes of apricot and ripe dates together with hints of sage and pepper. The mouthfeel is opulent with an outstanding balance between so much sweetness and freshness that accompany a persistent finish.
Perfect if served at 12°C with herb cheeses or paté de foi gras.
