Terrano 2006

A varietal Terrano wine, it ferments in steel and ages for two years in barriques of various ages. The color is a rich ruby full of violet pigments and the aroma broad and intense. The bouquet has scents of blackberry, raspberry, cherry and blueberry intermingled with laurel, licorice and coffee and a dusting of mixed spice. The mouthfeel is responsive, soft and warm, with a nice structure and mature tannins. The flavor is more zesty than fresh in a long finish that has a return of spice and fruit. Untamed and intriguing as the land it comes from.
