Terra di Lavoro 2001

This blend of Aglianico and Piedirosso is aged in new-wood barriques for 12 months and is a favorite of Robert Parker who has given it high marks. It has a dark, impenetrable and concentrated red color that leans towards a deep black and distinct aromas of humus and underbrush, oak bark and resin. The mouthfeel is imposing with its strong tannins that are far from being tamed. Impressive.
