Terlaner I is the product of a maniacal selection of the best grapes from small plots of old vines in the vineyards of Vorberg, Winkl and Kreuth. It is a classic Terlano blend, at least 65% Pinot Blanc and the rest Chardonnay and Sauvignon, which is aged in large barrels. This is a very great wine. Despite its young age it already expresses itself with complex aromas of citrus, white pepper, aromatic herbs and a delicately smoky nuance. The finesse, complexity and, at the same time, structural solidity of its mouthfeel is truly amazing. While salty and extremely vigorous, it also has a delicacy and depth unique for an Italian white wine. The gauntlet has been thrown.
