A warm and wet spring followed by a drop in temperatures in June and a hot, torrid summer. September was cool, slightly wet, which balanced the harvest, which took place in October.
80% Cabernet Franc, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Petit Verdot. Spontaneous fermentation (natural yields) with malolactic fermentation taking place in new barriques. A garnet color. The bouquet has a lovely richness and finesse, with scents of coffee and dark chocolate, red fruit, prunes and hints of spice from the wood, geraniums. The mouthfeel is full, fresh and fruity, very flavorful, elegant, extremely long and caressing. Nicely dynamic.
