Tenuta Bellafonte 2009

A new winery and very interesting novelty. A ‘classic’ Sagrantino with a full, composed and decidedly bright ruby color. The aroma is spread out on balsamic menthol notes and those of cherries under spirits, a cross between a Mon Cherie and After Eight, well-articulated and intense. The taste is very fascinating with a distinct, savory attack, a nice personality and very settled tannins. The tasty finish is persistent and every consistent with the aroma.
