100% Nerello Mascalese from old vines in Sciaranuova. Matured 18 months in barrels. Mild winter and rainy spring with a hot summer and again rain in the second half of August. Deep ruby red. Elegant flavors of capers, Mediterranean scrub and underbrush. Medium body, good fresh acidity with notes of capers and underbrush, long and mineral finish.
