A long name for one of the best sweet wine in the world. Made in ridiculously low quantities in a handful of years by the splendid and late producer Colette Faller, today this wine remains an everlasting example of a masterpiece the art of winemaking can produce. The color is a splendidly luminous golden-yellow and the texture, while concentrated, is not oily. The bouquet explodes into a thousand fruit sensations with a balsamic component that is the stuff of legends among those who have been able to enjoy this masterpiece. The Botrytis is pronounced and the scents of oriental spice wrapping. The mouthfeel is a miracle of complexity and hyper-stimulation more than an explosion. The persistence is unequalled, almost like a Tokaji Essencia.
Practically impossible to find, today this costs 500 euros (or even more) for a 1/2-liter bottle.
