Scents of tropical fruit were much more evident in this 2008 and aging gave them an almost jammy sensation. While there was a lot of peach and pineapple in the aroma, also evident were notes of vanilla as well as some sweet spice and grassy scents. The mouthfeel is full-bodied, wrapping and muscular with a pronounced persistence. The only shortcoming is perhaps that it does not have the elegance of the other two vintages.
