An extremely hot and dry year with two summer hailstorms that drastically reduced the quantity of grapes. 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Carmenère, 10% Merlot. Matured 24 months in French oak barriques that are both new and used two and three times. A very intense and dense ruby color. The aroma is wrapping and complex with warm fruit scents of dark cherry, wild berries and red currant along with notes of aromatic herbs and a delicate spice sensation. The mouthfeel has great elegance, with greater body than usual yet equally as balanced, with tannins that have extraordinary finesse and the persistence is very long.
