A mild winter and wet June while the rest of the season was normal. 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Carmenère, 10% Merlot. Matured 24 months in French oak barriques that are both new and used two and three times. A very intense and lively ruby. The bouquet is very typical, wrapping and fine, floral and fruity with scents of red and black currant, balsamic notes and delicate spice ones. The mouthfeel is taut and composed, agile, very elegant, nicely upheld by a refreshing acidity that makes the body aristocratic and graceful, with velvety tannins and a subtle and very long persistence.
Bottles produced: 71,182; 2,960 half-bottles; 3,500 magnums; and 398 double magnums.
