A very wet summer that gave way to a drier September. 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Carmenère, 10% Merlot. Matured 24 months in French oak barriques that are both new and used two and three times. A lively but less dense ruby color. The bouquet is a bit simple, vegetal, with notes of blood orange and wild berries. The mouthfeel is agile, taut and fresh, in line with the season, but in the end fine and pleasing even if thin. Very consistent.
Bottles produced: 54,673; 2,397 half bottles; 3,500 magnums; and 298 double magnums.
