A dry and early season, with little rain concentrated in August. 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Carmenère, 10% Merlot. Matured 24 months in French oak barriques that are both new and used two and three times. An intense ruby-garnet. The aroma is wrapping and full at the same time, with extreme finesse. There are notes of currant, sweet spice, and very intense balsamic ones. The mouthfeel is full and rich, composed, with a lovely alcoholic softness. Balanced, silky, very elegant and very long. A very great wine.
Bottles produced: 59,973; 2,500 half-bottles; 3,100 magnums; 269 double magnums.
