It had a bright red colour and the classic suggestion of red peppers in evidence on the nose, along with an intriguing spiciness and inviting rhubarb-like notes. The flavour was silky yet forceful, engrossing and convincingly quaffable. An excellent interpretation of the grape varieties and great goût de terroir; extremely recognizable, and with very decent length, too.
