The wine is made from Sagrantino grapes and ages for 18 months in barriques.  It has a classic ruby color and a beautiful bouquet with dark floral notes of violet together with those of blackberry and cherry along with a light smoky hint that brings out an engaging ash sensation. The mouthfeel is elegant and fresh with refined tannins that accompany the flavor without interfering with its compactness or drinkability. The finish is persistent and juicy.
