A dry and mild year produced a wine with a very dark and lucid ruby-prune color and a wonderful bouquet with oriental notes of green pepper and sandalwood, burnt rosemary and myrtle orange on a background of blackberry syrup. In the mouthfeel the tannins are more solid that in the 2012 and the finish is softer and less bitter than the 2012. A decidedly great wine.
