A cool and dry year. The color is a very dark ruby-prune with a garnet and lucent edge. The level of this vintage is immediately evident with its pyrotechnic bouquet with its strong aromas of black truffle and blackberry and the ever-present and pleasing green note that is a mix of green pepper, turmeric and rosemary. The mouthfeel is extraordinary, rich, rounded and never closed with a green finish and fat tannins.
