    A blend of 95% Sangiovese and 5% Merlot. Fermentation took place under controlled temperatures, something that begin in 2008 when a greater use of tonneau barrels for aging began. Although the 2012 and 2011 vintages (both excellent) are still young, with this vintage the balance is perfect. The wine has a ruby color and the impact of the aroma is spicy followed by fruity sensations of cherry and black cherry with a little woody touch and notes of coffee and chocolate. The mouthfeel is vibrant, vertical and deep with an almost creamy feeling and significant complexity.
