This has a Solera base, thus it is not vintage, and has a color that is slightly less amber, while the aromas are of resin and chestnut honey, amber and antique wood on a background of dried fig and beeswax, together with a pungent note of turpentine. The mouthfeel has a more distinct acidity, one between ethers and esters and acetic acid and a volatility which enhances the overall acidity with organic acids. The aftertaste is very persistent and quite pleasing. Residual sugar 60g/l.
