Despite being over ten years old, this still has an intense and brilliant red color. The aroma has remained intact with decidedly fruity and hematic sensations almost like a Syrah. With breathing the bouquet solemnly opens with notes of oriental spice and crushed rose, wild berries and strawberry jam. The gritty and expressive mouthfeel has sensations of iodine and the freshness is still pulsating and caressingly silky while the wine’s elegance and balance is not affected by is the remarkable extracts. Like its above-mentioned cousins, the aromatic persistence is extraordinary, a trademark of this unique territory.
