A Raboso Piave that ages for 24 months in used (two or three times) French oak barriques and then for another 12 months in 50hl oak barrels. The wine’s ruby color is still bold and the complex bouquet alternates between notes of dark and light spices and those of dark fruits like prune and Marasca cherry. The mouthfeel has a thick texture but an excellent progression thanks to a lovely salinity and polished tannins. The aftertaste is consistent with the flavor.
