Only magnums were used for this vintage. The nuance of antique gold is more pronounced than in the previous wine and looking through the glass you can see the bubbles are very light. The evolution is clear in the nose through notes of yellow spice and dried fruit and in a way it recalls the 2003 but firmly backed by ripe and even candied sweet fruit, rosemary and yellow rose. The mouthfeel is very balanced, more than the 1992 and the 2003, between the acidity and the sweet softness. This defies time and persists.
