Made from vitis vinifera Barbera grapes from a very old vineyard that has a sandy soil. The wine ages for 12 months in large, Slovenian-oak barrels and production is extremely limited. It has an intense ruby color and a decidedly complex bouquet with scents of red prune and other dark fruits along with a fine touch of wild strawberry. The way the splendid spicy note from aging in wood has been totally integrated is impressive. The mouthfeel is excellent with elegance and density uniting perfectly to create great emotions. Considering the vintage, this wine is a true miracle.
