Nebbiolo grapes. Matured for 30 months in large oak barrels and in the bottle. A clear ruby color with an orange edge. The bouquet has dark notes of humus, iron and balsamic wood, together with light scents of dark fruit preserved in alcohol. The mouthfeel is broad and dynamic, substantial and full-bodied with expanded and elegant tannins which offer a pleasingly dry finish with a licorice stick aftertaste. An endless balsamic persistence.
