Chardonnay 2000

We wanted to taste this at a more mature age since it was such a sensation a decade ago. The color is almost threatening, a bold golden that has give no concessions to amber. The aroma is an explosion of acaia honey, Alpine butter and mango jam. The mouthfeel is overflowing, enormous. This wine's style is what made it a trend-setter and took the whole world by surprise and today the wine has lost none of its flair, it is still the example of style that made it popular. It is amazing how unexpectedly it has aged.
