Made mostly from the estate’s Pinot Noir grapes grown in the vineyards of Campo Grande, Bellaria and Vallone. The wine sits for 48 months on the lees and was disgorged in May 2015. Vinified mostly in stainless steel vats with 2% of the wine is made in used barrels. The wine has a pale, straw-yellow color with a balanced effervescence. The bouquet has fresh notes of green apple, kiwi, aromatic forest herbs, Valencia orange pulp and bread crust, all on a floral background of elder. The mouthfeel has a pronounced attack with a pleasing saline sensation that lasts to the finish of pomegranate and citrus peel.
