A bright garnet color and very complex aromas, that include even balsamic notes next to the classic ones of violet and lighter ones of licorice. The tannins are still robust, due to their youth and class, typical for that central area of the Barolo district which magically unites the finesse of La Morra and the potency of Monforte. Even the acidic component is evident to the taste. The finish is a magical synthesis with an alcoholic cadence that holds in check its tannic-acidic rugosity to the point of achieving a warm and velvet persistence. All thanks to a producer of rare sensitivity named Mauro Mascarello.
