The product of a year that was easier to deal with than the 2009, this is immediately more extroverted and chatty. In the aroma has whiffs of tobacco, spice, vegetal and balsamic nuances, while an ashy minerality underscores how it belongs to the 'mountain of fire'. The mouthfeel has great progression, a precise balance between tannins of great finesse and the acidic-salty element. The aftertaste is long and persistent with a return of the spicy and balsamic components. Lovely.
