The first vintage produced. It opens with a nice bouquet of wilted violet and fruit that even includes ripe banana, together with volcanic minerality, spice and medicinal herbs, graphite and an almost impalpable smoked scent. In the mouth the tannins are sweet and chiseled, while the finish is long and savory with a spicy return of rhubarb or mineral.
