The color was an intense straw-yellow while the aroma was sharp with scents of hay, and peach, while lavender stood out in the floral bouquet, followed by the lichee scent typical of hot years. Here again a slight balsamic streak refreshed everything. The flavor was excellent, intense, progressive, never wavering and never dull thanks to the excellent acidity upholding it. The finish was consistent and had great persistence.
