Moscato di Trani 2011

Moscato di Trani (aka Moscato Reale) has been known since the year 1000 when its aromas captivated the people and markets of Venice. The wine today has finesse and elegance starting with its golden-yellow color. The bouquet has distinct notes of honey and butter, peach and apricot jam, acacia and gorse flowers and pleasing nuances of tropical and citrus fruits along with elegant and clean sensations of salt, some salt and a touch of almond in the finish. The mouthfeel is sweet without being sickly so and leaves a fresh mineral and brackish aftertaste.
