    This is a blend of 85% Sangiovese and 15% Alicante which was aged in steel vats. It has a classic, bright ruby color and fruity aromas of black cherry and blackberry. The mouthfeel is saline and warm, taut from the acidity and while the tannins are only hinted at, the flavor silhouette is delicate and subtle and the persistence is good.
