An intense and pleasing wine with its lovely balsamic note of licorice wrapped in sweet spice along with notes of ripe wild berries like myrtle and blackberry that create sensations that last long in the mouth and memory. Montevetrano is an iconic wine for the Campania region even if it expresses this territory in an original and alternative way. It has a strong personality and a wonderful capacity to age, which explains why they let it age in barrels for many years in the cellar. The 2008 vintage is a full reflection of this and has a long life ahead of it to evolve into something even better.
