Without a doubt one of Italy's best Bordeaux, with a Mediterranean touch thanks to an addition of Aglianico which can only be good. The color is still a bright red with wonderful purple reflections, while in the aroma there is no hint of pyrazine. The vegetal notes recall the vineyard and are like brushstrokes on a canvas of Mediterranean brush, sweet spice, cinnamon and pepper and Harlequin pepper. The flavor is velvety but taut, rich in aftertaste sensations. The length is surprising, like that off a great S.Emilion. Chapeau...
