    The 2006 harvest was extraordinary throughout Tuscany thanks to lots of sun in the daytime and cool nights ahead of harvest. A 100% Sangiovese that aged 18 months in barriques. It has a concentrated, ruby color and a bouquet with scents of dark fruit, like mulberry and blueberry, along with floral ones of sweet violet and hints of spice. The mouthfeel is austere, full-bodied and juicy with bold and velvety tannins and a finish distinguished by the sweetness of the fruit.
