Monsupello Nature Pinot nero Metodo Classico Pas dosé VSQ

One would expect this Nature to be quite sharp due to its minimal sugar content (2.9g/l), yet when tasted together with an excellent Franciacorta it stood out for how soft it is. The wine is decidedly less biting than one would have imagined, starting with its sweet aroma that had notes of currant and cassis, slightly vanilla scents and those of delicately toasted hazelnut and yeast. The mouthfeel was soft and savory, rich yet dynamic.
